CR Magazine has just published their list of 100 Best Corporate Citizens for 2016, and the results include Wrangler and Lee Jean’s parent company VF Corporation.

The list, which ranks corporate responsibility performance by a number of measures – including environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance, and philanthropy – has VF Corporation (which owns Wrangler and Lee among its portfolio) as the 77th best corporate citizen of the last year.

VF ranked 26th on the environmental list, highlighting the company’s recent efforts of reducing its carbon footprint. VF recently announced it had achieved a five percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in 2015 (compared to 2009 levels), and is now pledging to use 100 percent renewable energy by 2025 at all VF owned and operated facilities.

“Our commitment at VF is to continually improve our business performance as well as the world around us,” said VF Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Eric Wiseman. “We are honored to be recognized by CR Magazine for the work our associates are leading across our global business platforms and brands to responsibly manage our business.”
