Sneakers are making noise. Last month the NPD Group revealed the athletic footwear category recorded $93 million in sales during the five weeks ending Dec. 6, 2014, and one sneaker release in particular–the Jordan VI Retro Mid–contributed a staggering $25 million.
With sneaker culture deepening its footprint worldwide, and the acceptance of athletic footwear seeping into mainstream fashion at frantic pace, 2015 is shaping up to be a strong year for sneakerheads, new and old.
