Première Vision is putting in place the final piece of the manufacturing puzzle. The textile trade show organizer announced it will host a second edition of The Sourcing Connection Première Vision in Paris Sept. 12-14.
The Sourcing Connection will feature a curated group of key ready-to-wear clothing manufacturers from core regions around the world for garment production, with the objective to educate attendees about emerging sourcing zones. Approximately 120 manufacturers from China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia and Sub-Saharan Africa will present their specialties in areas dedicated to particular end uses, including jeanswear, outerwear, loungewear and sportswear.
Additionally, Première Vision is planning host a series of seminars around the new challenges of sourcing from these nations.
To qualify for the show, exhibitors from emerging regions will be audited by a committee that is specialized in the ready-to-wear clothing manufacturing sector to ensure that each upholds the requirements of European fashion brands.
Exhibitors must demonstrate financial reliability and a good commercial reputation. They must also be able to prove the quality of infrastructure and industrial tool, and that their ethics are in line with social and environmental rules established by international authorities.
The Sourcing Connection will be held one day apart from the organizer’s main event, Première Vision Paris held Sept. 13-15 at Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte. A shuttle service between the two events will be organized to make it easier for buyers to visit both shows.
The Sourcing Connection is part of Première Vision’s trifecta of events that spotlight global manufacturing opportunities. Made in France Première Vision, scheduled April 6-7 in Paris, will provide an overview of the Fresh luxury and high-end fashion industry with a focus on leather, materials and manufacturing. Meanwhile, three editions of Première Vision Manufacturing in Istanbul, New York and Paris, brings together the most qualitative and competitive sourcing solutions from the major export sector.
