Zadig & Voltaire announced Thursday that Swedish stylist and former Chloé and Marni creative director Paulo Melim Andersson has joined the brand’s design team.
Andersson will co-design the French brand’s women’s and accessories collections alongside creative director Cecilia Bönström. Their first collaborated collection for Fall ’15 will debut at Paris fashion week on March 5.
He brings a softer and more feminine aesthetic to the edgy denim and leather label. In 1999, the Central Saint Martins of London art and design graduate and Maison Martin Margiela designer was named artistic director for Marni. His next gig was at Chloé, when he replaced Phoebe Philo in 2008. He was relieved from his post at the French label two years later.
