Men’s Wearhouse is teaming with the National Basketball Coaches Association (NBCA) for the seventh year in a row to dress NBA coaches in suits from Joseph Abboud for the 2015-2016 season.

Coaches from around the league were fitted during the annual NBA Coaches Summit on Sept. 17 in Chicago, where they selected from hundreds of fabric swatches, in a range of styles and silhouettes, to create original, custom suits. As many of the coaches are former athletes, Joseph Abboud Custom provided Big and Tall sizes because the garments are tailored to their fit. All Joseph Abboud suits are made at the company’s factory, in New Bedford, Mass.

“Made in America is very important to me. I have to mention that not only is it made in the USA but it’s made in my home state. I grew up in Framingham, not far from where Joseph Abboud tailored clothing is produced, and that’s really special to me,” said David Blatt, Cleveland Cavaliers head coach. “Each coach is able to select their own individual fabrics and are measured for custom-made suits, personally tailored to them for the perfect fit. Having the opportunity to have suits made in the USA by Joseph Abboud that not only meet our needs for the court but also appeal to our tastes, is really fantastic,” he continued.

As part of the coaches’ commitment to the partnership, each coach will support the annual Men’s Wearhouse National Suit Drive in July 2016, personally donating clothing to a Men’s Wearhouse in their market. The retailer collects gently used men’s and women’s professional clothing items to help give a fresh start to millions of disadvantaged people facing unemployment. Last year, Men’s Wearhouse collected over 225,000 clothing garments for those in need.

Jason Kidd, Milwaukee Bucks head coach, said,”It’s about confidence. Unfortunately there are many people out there looking for jobs that are unable to afford a suit and they don’t feel confident going to a job interview because they’re worried about what they’re wearing. The National Suite Drive is a great cause that will help give confidence to those seeking employment and I’m proud to be supporting it.”
