After receiving 23 million euros in its last round of financing, Menlook has decided to expand. The French menswear online shop, announced the acquisition of Frontlineshop, the Hamburg-based men’s urban fashion retailer.
Menlook.com has more than 2.7 million visitors a month and offers a wide selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories. Top brands include Acne Studios, Armani Collezioni, Diesel, Lacoste and Carven. It aim is to increase its annual turnover to 100 million euros in the next 12-18 months.
Frontline Ltd. has more than one million visitors per month and over 300 brands in its range, including Adidas, Ben Sherman, Carhartt and Fred Perry.
The purchase will allow Menlook to enter the German market, and it will help Frontline generally reach a more international audience, add to its selection of brands and range of products, and help realize economies of scale in purchasing and technology.
