Nordstrom announced Monday plans to grow its partnership with Madewell to an additional 15 stores across the country. By late July, the department store will carry the Madewell collection in a total of 30 locations and on Nordstrom.com.
Nordstrom is the only US retailer outside Madewell’s own stores that sells a broad assortment from the label. Tricia Smith, Nordstrom executive vice president and general merchandise manager of women’s apparel, said customers have responded well to the Madewell brand, both online and in stores.
Smith said, “We know our customers love the Madewell brand, so we’re excited to offer Madewell in an additional 15 stores for fall.” She added, “We’re always looking for ways to evolve our offering to be more relevant and the Madewell brand has been a great addition to our merchandise mix.”
Madewell’s Fall ’15 collection debuted Monday and features woven tops, embroidered boho blouses, as well as the brand’s bestselling High Riser denim.
