With an updated slogan, “Tomorrow is Calling,” Denim Première Vision (Nov. 2-3 at the Paris Event Center) is taking a concerted effort to examine what the next generation of consumers want out of their denim through a new interactive program.

The show will debut a program of seminars and meetings including “Share and Shake—The Denim Sessions,” a series of four 45-minute discussions where exhibitors and attendees can discuss the future of denim. Topics will include innovations in fiber, treatments and technology; smart textiles; branding strategies for mid-tier and premium markets; and the preferences of Millennial consumers. Two sessions will take place on each day of the show.

Denim Première Vision will introduce a vintage market to the show, created in partnership with Italian Denim Boulevard. The space will offer attendees and mills the opportunity to expand their vintage archives and shop for inspirational pieces.

The show will also host daily trend meetings organized by Denim Première Vision’s fashion team to support its popular trend area, which will outline the key themes for Spring/Summer 2018.

The upcoming show is the first since Denim Première Vision announced it would return to Paris at an earlier schedule. The show has confirmed 80 exhibitors, with the majority being weavers.
