London-based denim label Blaak is experimenting with the healing benefits of Lapis Lazuli.

In May, the brand will launch a three-piece collection of men’s jeans with the crystal, which is tied to wisdom and truth, attached to the inside of the waistband. The deep blue semi-precious stone is also said to heal skin conditions and insomnia.

Blaak founders Aaron Sharif and Sachiko Okada have been researching crystal healing over the last two years, developing ways to incorporate the stones into its jeans. The line of five-pocket jeans, available in black, indigo and over-dyed black denim, features minimal hardware and subtle stitching, and will retail for about $370. Styles without stones will also be available.
