The days of giving and receiving dull socks are over. The traditional stocking stuffers look better than ever with smart designs, styles that give back and clever packaging.
Here’s a look at three of our favorite sock gifts to cozy up to this holiday season and beyond.
Pair of Thieves
Pair of Thieves, the sock brand co-founded by television producer Cash Warren, wants to shake things up this holiday season. The company launched Socktails, a set of two men’s socks packaged inside a cocktail mixing tube.
Each pair of socks is made with a performance-based fabric blend with breathability and moisture-wicking properties to keep feet toasty during the holidays.
Socktail sets retail for $24 and are available at online.
The fashion problems brought on by this winter’s unseasonably warm and unpredictable weather are solved with Keysocks. The company specializes in knee-high “no show” socks—perfect for wearing ballet flats and loafers deep into winter.
The socks not only keep the wearer warm, but the innovative designs also prevents the sock from falling off or scrunching off.
Keysocks for women, which retail for $11.95, are available online in black, nude, brown, mint green and gray. Wide sizes are also available.
Gap x Bombas
Gap and Bombas, an athletic sock brand with a philanthropic platform, launched an exclusive collection aimed at bringing awareness to the most requested clothing item in homeless shelters: socks.
For every Gap x Bombas pair sold in select Gap stores around the world and on Gap.com, the retailer will give a pair of specially-designed Bombas socks to someone in need. The donation socks are designed with reinforced seams for better durability, an anti-microbial treatment and darker colors to minimize visible wear.
The collection includes calf socks for adults, children, toddlers and baby. Each category offers four different colorways. Adult styles retail for $10.95.
