Denim Première Vision will celebrate its 10th anniversary Nov. 2-3 in a new location at the Paris Event Center. The show will host 80 exhibitors from 20 countries with brand new collections and innovations for Spring/Summer 2018.

And denim won’t be the only thing that is new at the show. The show is rolling out an updated program of extra-curricular activities and happenings. Here’s a look at the four must-see events.

  • Elevate your library. The show will introduce its first Le Denim Bookstore stocked with the latest issues of denim and trend magazines. And don’t forget to grab a copy of the new issue of Rivet magazine available for free at the show’s restaurant and coffee shop and in the VVIP area.
  • Touch and see the trends that matter for Spring/Summer 2018. Denim Première Vision’s fashion team has narrowed down the season to five core themes. Expect to see men’s denim with more fluidity, expressive denim with disorderly checks and graphics, pure and clean suit styling and denim with more presence through thicker yarns and heavy cotton. The new season also calls for floral, tropical and animal embroidery in a color soaked story that will enliven the women’s market.
  • Research, source or shop from over 1,500 vintage garments at the debut Première Vintage Market. The exclusive shopping experience is being coordinated in partnership with Denim Boulevard, the producers of the three-denim denim festival in Milan. Items from a broad scope of denim eras, including workwear, military and fashion, will be available for purchase.
  • Start the conversation. Denim Première Vision is will hold four “Share & Shake” interactive discussions that will touch on hot topics in the denim world. On Nov. 2, learn about the latest fiber and technology innovations during a presentation by Piero Turk, and discover what Generation Z expects per Ikeme Audrey Eshemokhai, Denim Design Director at Guess and Travis Rice. On Nov. 3, Giusy Bettoni, consultant for Première Vision in sustainable innovation and development for textiles, fashion and design, will discuss smart textiles. Another Design Studio Founder Stefano Aldighieri will close out the series with a talk about denim branding.
